December 9 Reminders

Reminders:

  • Our concert is Tuesday at 9:30 and 1:30. Students can wear dressy or "festive" clothing tomorrow.  (No hats, reindeer ears, etc.)
  • Bake sale is tomorrow after each of the performances.
  • No hot lunch tomorrow. There is the holiday lunch on Friday for all students.
  • This will be our last week of spelling before the break. Spelling reviews will resume in January.
  • Bring new hats/mittens for our trees in the foyer. The donations will go to Inn from the Cold.
  • The last day of school is Thursday, December 19. Please let me know if your child will be leaving early for holidays.

Just a reminder that we will have a Google Meet with our class at 10:00am today.  How to access Google Meet was sent through email to you.  Two ways you can access are: 1. Through a link I will post on here and in my Google Classroom  2. Seeds for Science

Hello parents! If you are outside this weekend/week with your child, please look for seeds to bring in to class next week. Students can look for seeds in the wild or in their yards. We are looking for a wide variety of seeds, so they can also bring in seeds from fruit/vegetables in the kitchen or from seed packets. Please label the seeds in a bag, if you know what type of seeds they are. We will collect the seeds all next week to use during science for our Plant unit this month. Thank-you for your help!

Hello Parents and Students, We hope you are well and have had a relaxing spring break.   For the foreseeable future, together we are traveling into the world of online learning.  We thank you for your ongoing patience as we navigate this new journey and continue to take up the Alberta Program of Studies.  We will be providing learning opportunities & activities soon. Your child’s homeroom teacher will connect with you to discuss your child’s access to technology at home, including access to a computer and the internet.  Teachers will email students/parents or by phone call. We are also making a plan to address the needs of students without these resources and to determine how to support students with paper packages. Teachers will also ask you how you and your family are doing and encourage you to connect with wellness supports and resources available within and beyond the CBE.
